IN DEVELOPMENT Sound & Space Having just received confirmation of Arts Council funding, Sound & Space will be re-worked for a national tour in November 2011. Rope Solo/ Capriccio I've been encouraged for a while to develop a rope solo in which I sing. I am currently working on a choreography which is a development of my Antony Gormley piece. My musical inspiration is the Marc Ribot score I used there. I've described it as Capriccio - a song that transcends its lyrics to assume a physical form, a melody that quite literally takes flight. Witty, mesmerising and unique, Capriccio is true to its definition - a musical whim, a melodic caprice that will beguile you. Burlesque Cabaret I have a delicious idea for an outrageous anthropomorphic cabaret piece on circeaux which I plan to pull together as soon as the time and money arise! Rope & Strings In 2012 I plan to complete the Rope & Strings project researched in Paris with Jos Houben and several Baroque cellists. (please see Research).
