'Sound and Space' featuring Alexander Balanescu - violin Evelina Petrova - accordion Gisele Edwards - aerialist Acclaimed Romanian violinist Alexander Balanescu, Russian accordionist Evelina Petrova and leading UK aerialist Gisele Edwards join forces for the first time in an exciting new commission exploring the crossover between live music and aerial work in the evocative space at LSO St Luke's. This pioneering new collaboration will sit within an Eastern European influenced programme of music which will include material from Alexander and Evelina's Upside Down album, which effortlessly blends Russian folk with jazz improvisation and classical music.
